I put E3 in my 2003 Impala about 4 months ago and she ran fine. I even drove the car 3,000 miles to canada and back, but lately i noticed the twitchy rpm, then the car had a dead cylinder the one day, and now today she was lurching bad. E3=garbage no one will tell me different I should have listened to my friend who warned me about them.

I have the E3s on my 96 sentra for about 5 months now and not one hikup, also I installed a set in my 93 camry wagon I4 around the same time and shortly after it seems to keep pushing the no.2 cylinder boot up. I thout maybe the gasket was bad so I replaced the whole set of gaskets of the valve cover.
A couple if fays later my wife is telling me the car is lacking power again, so I lift the hood and what do ypu noe, the plug is pushed up again, I check to make sure the tip of the plug is tight and that the plug is seated properly and al checks out :( , so needless to say, im stumped, maybe its plug.....

I had a set of E3.62 in my 4.0L Explorer. Hesitation, miss fire and backfire were the result. Let's see what E3 has to say about this..... Went back to the original set of Motorcraft platinum..... all is well now with my truck... smooth idle, starts on first clank and no hesitation or missfire. I'm just glad I didn't have something catastrophic happen to my engine... then I'd be pissed.

I put a set of four E3.48 spark plugs in my 2007 Honda CR-V about 20K miles ago. Yesterday the car began misfiring, running very rough, the 'Check Engine' light began blinking and the VSA light came on. I removed all four E3 plugs and returned the original NGK iridium plugs. All the symptoms went away though the 'Check Engine' light is still on. I use E3 plugs in all my small engines - mower, snow blower, outboard, etc - and have not had a problem but none of these devices are run as much as the car is.

I bought a set ofE3 plugs for my 2004 Dodge Ram on April 16 ..I noticed no improvement or increased fuel mileage. On May 13 I started to get a vibration that turned into misfire, the truck had no power I called in for warranty on my truck because I did not think that the plugs had failed. I get a call from the garage and they tell me that code is cylinder 5 misfire. They switched coils ...same thing...they switched injectors...same thiing Then they switched the plugs a nd the misfire went to another cylinder..Had to replace plugs. Now a $50.00 plug change just tuned into a $377.49 bill. Ican't see why I have to flip this bill ..DON'T WASTE MONEY ON THE E3 PLUGS

I have an '02 Silverado with the 5.3 V8 that I bought new. I've been modding the truck since new. After three years I had a Borla exhaust, K&N FIPK, and had returned to a stock tune after selling a Hypertech programmer. I decided to try E3 plugs and MSD wires.

Out came the stuck plugs and wires, in went the E3's and MSD wires. The truck started well, idled well, and ran great. Towards the end of a week it started running rough, lost power, and seemed to losing cylinders. I tried injector cleaner, cleaned the K&N and MAF, and reset codes. No luck.

I plulled the plugs and they were nasty looking. The stock ones that I threw out were clean so I was puzzled. I installed a set of Bosch plugs that I gapped per a Chilton's manual. The truck ran great and I haven't had any more problems.

I ordered the E3's from Summit and yes, I checke the part # and verified it correct. They are junk. I have never seen a double blind SCIENTIFIC test proving that they are worth the money. Just magazine and TV tests showing power with old used plugs vs fresh new E3 plugs. Guess whose plugs they advertise? Buyer beware.

I now have a cam, headers, EFI live tune and run stock plugs with no problems.

Put on my new e3 plugs in my evo and the car had a slight vibration, but I paid no mind. Car drove fine for about a hundred miles. On the way to Vegas car would misfire and I just thought it was bad gas. Until the way back from Vegas, I could drive more than 50mph, cause car would misfire. Longest 280 miles of my life. Took out the plugs and found one had an electrode had broken off. Went back to ngk's and love them
