I was at the local (well not really) wrecker last weekend, and I came across this beautiful machine while getting some Jeep and Ford parts. 95 Taurus SHO, 3.0L engine. As most SHO fans would know, the 3.0L engine was the original that came with the 5 speed transmission, and it was the 3.2L with the automatic.
I honestly can’t figure out why this car is sitting in the parts yard, the body wasn’t damaged, engine looked cared for, interior was good. There is hardly any SHO’s around anymore (unless you count the 2010 model which is a totally new beast.) Ford only sold 160,000 SHO’s over it’s 10 year lifespan.
